Partner. Mr. Gurméndez works in the Area of Corporate Law, highly specialized in M&A, Banking and Finance, Foreign investment and Energy Law.

Tomás Gurmendez works in the area of Corporate Law, and specializes in mergers and acquisitions, banking and financial law, mining and natural resources law and foreign investment.

In the course of his practice he advises national and foreign companies and banking institutions in financial and commercial transactions, including stock purchase, shareholder agreements, loans, project finance, joint ventures, trusts and commercial agreements in general.

He was formerly a professor of Economic Transactions Law at Universidad ORT in Uruguay.

He has been cited by renowned international publications such as Chambers & Partners, for his work in the field of energy, mergers and acquisitions and banking and financial law.
