Luis Enrique Palacios specializes in mergers and acquisitions, project finance and corporate finances.

He has extensive experience advising buyers, sellers, targets, financial advisors, financiers and others on mergers and acquisitions.

He has represented financial institutions and sponsors in the development and financing of projects and concessions in the energy, infrastructure, telecommunications and mining industry, among others. He also regularly participates in corporate finance and capital market transactions.

Luis Enrique serves on the board of major companies and is currently Vice Chair of the Banking & Financial Law Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA), where he has been a member since 2015. Since 2021, he has also served as a member of its Latin American Forum, where he currently holds the position of Conference Quality Officer.

The most prestigious international publications in the sector, such as Chambers & Partners, Legal 500, Lexology (formerly Who’s Who Legal) and International Financial Law Review recognize him as one of Peru’s most prominent lawyers. According to Latin Lawyer 250, no other Peruvian lawyer has received as many votes in LACCA Approved as he has.

He worked for several years at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP in New York and Los Angeles.
