Piero Scarafone specializes in construction, procurement of goods and services, and hydrocarbons, with a particular focus on contractual and transactional matters.

His practice includes negotiation, execution and settlement of engineering, procurement, construction, management, supervision, and related contracts for the execution of works and services across various industries, including mining, electricity and hydrocarbons. He has substantial experience in FIDIC and other standardized contracts.

Piero is also an expert in the designing service contracting strategies, including those related to operation and maintenance, and the procurement of critical supplies for the abovementioned industries.

He advises in the negotiation, closing and execution of key contracts within the logistics chain for the commercialization of minerals and commodities. Additionally, he is involved in project finance transactions and both public and private infrastructure projects.

Piero also advises on the negotiation of license agreements for the exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons, joint operating agreements, BOOT and DF BOOT agreements.
