Rachel Herrick Kassabian is a partner in the Silicon Valley office. She represents companies in a wide range of intellectual property and commercial litigation matters, with a special focus on tech and Internet sector businesses. Ms. Kassabian has served as lead counsel for numerous Fortune 500 and privately held companies, including private equity and venture firms, in a variety of high stakes intellectual property and business disputes. Ms. Kassabian also represents founders and C-suite executives in similar matters.

Ms. Kassabian has successfully tried multiple cases to verdict and has defended her trial victories on appeal. She also has significant experience in corporate investigations, particularly in the context of allegations of economic espionage and trade secret misappropriation, employment matters, and corporate governance issues. Related to her litigation work, Ms. Kassabian regularly advises startups and other tech clients, big and small, on intellectual property issues and best practices, to help them minimize and manage litigation risk.

Ms. Kassabian serves as Chair of the firm’s Internet Litigation Practice and is a member of the firm’s Recruiting Committee.
