His professional practice focuses on transactional and corporate matters, as well as on corporate and investment dispute resolution. He has spearheaded numerous mergers and acquisitions in the past years, counseling local and foreign companies. He also advises international investors in corporate disputes, as well as in investor-state investment disputes. He is a founding partner of Miranda & Amado (1999). Previously, he was an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, New York from 1997 to 1998, and at Estudio Echecopar from 1994 to 1996. Luis is a lawyer from Universidad de Lima and holds an LL.M. from The University of Chicago Law School.
