Zhiyu (Zooey)’s practice focuses on technology transactions, data privacy, and regulatory compliance advisory work. She has experience performing due diligence on data, cybersecurity, and intellectual property issues in M&A and private equity investments.

Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, Zooey was a trainee solicitor in the London and Hong Kong offices of a leading international law firm.

Zooey is a Registered Foreign Lawyer with the Law Society of Hong Kong. She is native in Mandarin and fluent in English.
