Alexandre R. Chequer is a founding partner of Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown, the Global Head of Energy at Mayer Brown and he is also a member of the firm’s Management Advisory Board.

Alexandre focuses his practice on oil and gas and energy transactions, regulatory and project development, with more than 25 years of experience representing oil and gas and energy companies in Brazil, Latin America, Africa and Asia.

For over a decade, Alexandre has maintained his position as a top-ranked legal expert in the Oil & Gas sector and has been ranked by prestigious legal publications Chambers Brazil and Chambers Global every year since 2007.
