Clients turn to Déborah Gelblat for complex, cross‑border real estate transactions across France and Europe. She advises private equity funds, institutional investors, asset managers and hospitality operators on a broad range of real estate transactions, including ventures, acquisitions, disposals, sale and lease-backs, portfolio transactions and corporate reorganizations. Déborah also guides clients through the full life cycle of commercial leasing matters—including the negotiation of new leases (including BEFA), ongoing lease management and lease‑related disputes.

Her practice spans multiple asset classes, with particular strength in the hospitality, logistics, office and retail sectors. She frequently acts for international investors investing in French and European markets and works seamlessly with Mayer Brown’s international offices to deliver coordinated advice on cross‑border mandates.

Déborah has significant experience in distressed real estate transactions and restructurings, advising on the acquisition and workout of troubled assets.
