Mauro Pedroso Goncalves is a partner of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice group in Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown.

Mauro Pedroso focuses his practice on civil litigation in a wide range of sectors, including oil & gas, energy, infrastructure, banking, real estate, technology, and agribusiness. He has substantial experience in briefing and arguing cases before the highest courts, as well as crafting legal strategies for high-stakes disputes in trial and appellate courts, regulatory agencies, audit courts, and comptrollers’ offices.

Mauro holds a PhD in Civil Procedure  and  an LLM from the Pontifical Catholic University of Sao Paulo (PUC-SP). Additionally, he is a professor of Civil Procedure and the author of several legal publications. He is also a member of the Instituto Brasileiro de Direito Processual (IBDP) and the Associação Brasiliense de Direito Processual Civil (ABPC). Before joining the firm, he served as a law clerk at the Brazilian Superior Court of Justice.

His clientele includes notable entities such as Eletrobras, Enel, Vinci, and Confederação Nacional da Indústria.
