Eduardo Maccari Telles is a partner in the Tax practice.

Eduardo concentrates his practice in trial, litigation and arbitration, tax and administrative law. He represents national and foreign companies, as well as governmental institutions, in resolving disputes related to tax, civil, labor, intellectual property, and environmental matters, while also providing tax and labor consulting. Eduardo has significant experience in energy and insurance litigation and coordinates the firm’s Brazil litigation practice.

Since 2000, he has served as a state attorney for the Attorney’s Office of the State of Rio de Janeiro. His previous roles include tax attorney at the National Institute of Social Security (1998–2000), legal counselor at Rangel, Penna da Rocha & Daiha Associated Attorneys (2000–2006), external counsel for the Brazilian Institute of Municipal Administration (2000–2004), and Treasury representative on the Taxpayer Council of the State of Rio de Janeiro (2004).
