Before joining Mayer Brown in 2022, he served as a Référendaire at the General Court of the European Union, following earlier roles as a competition lawyer and as a permanent case handler at the French Competition Authority. Over the course of his career, he has worked on major cases at both the French and EU levels.

Aymeric has extensive knowledge of EU competition rules, including merger control, cartels, competitor collaborations, vertical agreements, abuse of dominance, and State aid. He also advises on key regulatory frameworks relevant to the technology sector, notably the DMA, the DSA, and AI-related issues. He has unparalleled experience in litigation before the CJEU and also represents clients in proceedings before the EUIPO. He is recognized for his ability to navigate complex European legal environments.

Aymeric frequently speaks at conferences in France and across Europe and lectures on Competition Law at Paris-Panthéon-Assas University.
