Aurora is a highly experienced attorney with over 50 years of legal practice, specializing in environmental law, civil law, mining and petroleum, energy, telecommunications, and litigation.

Throughout her distinguished career, Aurora has advised both national and international clients on matters related to public law, civil law, labor law, and environmental regulation. Her expertise has been instrumental in major transactions and regulatory processes within Colombia’s energy and infrastructure sectors.

She played a key role in the acquisition of Cerrejón Central, North, and South, and advised the Cartagena Refinery on access to Ecopetrol’s port facilities, as well as on the expansion and modernization of the refinery. Aurora also advised KLT Power during the acquisition of the government’s stake in Termotasajero S.A., as part of Colombia’s public services privatization process, among other relevant experiences.
