Augusto is a partner of the Firm and has over 40 years of experience leading the areas of infrastructure, energy, public procurement, and foreign investment.

Throughout his extensive career, he has served as lead counsel for investment, financing and contracting projects in the fields of infrastructure, energy, oil and gas, mergers and acquisitions, commercial agreements, and comprehensive legal structuring for business ventures. He has also acted as a negotiator and litigator in the resolution of commercial and administrative disputes. His professional practice has primarily focused on advising multinational clients.

Spanish and English

Law degree and a Ph.D. from Universidad de los Andes (1975). Graduate studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
