César is a partner in the structured finance team, with over 13 years of experience in structured finance, secured transactions, insolvency, and cross-border financing. He advises foreign financial institutions on transactions involving Colombian companies, including leasing, purchase, sale, and financing agreements, and has built a strong reputation in high-value equipment financing for leading global lessors and financiers.

César has been deeply involved in structuring and negotiating complex financial transactions, including the financing of vessels, commercial aircraft, engines, and aircraft parts. His experience extends to infrastructure and energy-related financings,.

His international experience includes serving as an international law clerk at Holland & Knight LLP in New York, giving him valuable insight into global financing structures and cross-border legal transactions. He holds a law degree from Universidad del Rosario in Colombia and an LL.M. in International Business Law (cum laude) from Tilburg University in the Netherlands. Additionally, he lectured on Commercial Law and Banking Law at Universidad del Rosario.
