Nicholas Cook is a corporate lawyer with 15 years of experience in cross-border M&A, joint ventures and corporate structuring across Asia Pacific. Qualified in Hong Kong and England & Wales, he combines international reach with deep regional expertise.

Nicholas advises multinational corporations, emerging companies and family offices on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, corporate structuring and reorganizations, as well as commercial contract matters. His practice is centered on complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions; my work is cross-industry, although many projects involve technology.

Nicholas’s representative experience includes:

Advised on the establishment of an international blockchain consortium. Led corporate restructuring projects for multinationals and family offices in Asia and globally. Advised the retail arm of a global company on forming a China e-commerce joint venture with a US fashion brand. Advised a European retailer on its joint venture with a Chinese online retail platform. Acted on brand-licensing joint ventures across Asia and Europe for a global supply chain company. Represented a shipbuilding group in acquiring a majority stake in a Singapore-listed shipbuilder.
