Clara Shirota is a debt finance partner in the Tokyo office of Kirkland & Ellis (Gaikokuho Kyodo Jigyo). Clara has extensive experience advising private equity funds and other strategic investors on a wide range of complex financings, with a focus on leveraged acquisition and take-private finance, refinancings, dividend recapitalizations and restructurings, debt buy-backs and bank/bond transactions.
