Enrica Schaefer is an antitrust and competition partner in the Brussels office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP. She has extensive experience of complex cross border merger control, including in-depth reviews by and remedies negotiations with the European Commission and authorities in other jurisdictions. She also manages the growing impact of foreign direct investment and foreign subsidies regulations on deals. Enrica’s behavioural practice covers investigations into anti-competitive agreements and abuse of dominance, as well as ensuing litigation. She is also actively advising on emerging digital regulatory regimes including the EU’s Digital Markets Act.
