Fernando Lillo, with 25 years’ experience, advises clients on lending and structured finance and is recognized as a leading lawyer in Spain for PPP, PFI, project finance, and in the infrastructure and renewable energy development markets. Fernando's recent representations involve renewable energy (wind parks, mini hydraulic, biomass, cogeneration, bioethanol, solar and thermal solar plants and BESS (stand alone and hybridized)), and infrastructure projects (toll roads, highways, parking lots, wastewater treatment plants, hospitals, prisons, public buildings, sports centers, hotels and nursing homes), including administrative concessions. His experience encompasses all types of credits, loans, and security packages in project, corporate, acquisition, export and asset financing. Fernando advises local and international promoters and investors in the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors, including the acquisition of permits and assets, assistance in development phase, financing and finally the sale of projects. Fernando recently advised a pool of international banks with the €262 million project financing of five PV plants totaling 244.7 MWp developed by an international IPP; a local developer in the sale of two stand alone BESS installations to a global international IPP; a local IPP with the €48 million project financing of two wind farms totaling 105 MWp financed by international bank and an international infrastructure fund in the re-leverage of a prison center with a pool of international banks.
