Career

Fabio has over 15 years’ experience in securitizations and structured finance and provides assistance to international and Italian banks, financial institutions and investment funds acting as arrangers, lead managers, investors, and originators in the context of Italian and multi-jurisdiction securitizations relating to a full spectrum of asset classes, including residential mortgage loans, loans granted to SMEs and micro-enterprises, trade receivables, salary secured loans, consumer loans, leasing, NPLs (nonperforming loans), UTPs (unlikely to pay), receivables vis-à-vis public entities as well as esoteric asset classes (such as superbonus receivables and VAT receivables).

Fabio also provides assistance to arrangers and investors in the context of a number of market-first securitizations, including inventory financing, project finance and real estate assets securitizations, in each case with the use or combination of various innovative securitizations structures, such as sub-participation and direct lending securitizations.

In addition to assisting with the structuring of the transactions, Fabio provides advice on the EU and Italian regulation aspects of securitizations.

Fabio assists Italian and foreign banks and financial institutions also in debt capital market transactions such as euro medium-term note (EMTN) programs and stand-alone issuances of bonds.
