Karla has been part of Arias’ labor preventive advisory team, as well as the Litigation and Dispute Resolution department since 2021. Her practice focuses on advising national and international clients on the proper application of labor, social security, and occupational health and safety regulations. She also represents employers in judicial, constitutional, and administrative proceedings before the Ministry of Labor and advises clients during inspections conducted by the Guatemalan Social Security Institute.  

 She has extensive experience in local labor law compliance, personnel hiring, drafting internal labor regulations, managing disciplinary processes, and occupational safety regulations. Before joining the Firm, she worked at a renowned law firm specializing in labor law, where she focused on litigation and preventive advisory services to ensure regulatory compliance for companies across various private sector industries. 

She is recognized for her proactive approach, client-focused service, and ability to efficiently solve complex problems.
