Mariana works in the intellectual property practice and has extensive experience in trademarks, patents, and copyrights.

She has advised national and international companies on trademark registration and protection. She has extensive experience in patent filings, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector. She has also participated in criminal proceedings related to product counterfeiting, including investigations, expert evidence, and trademark protection litigation.

In addition, she has broad experience in corporate law, due diligence processes, creating corporate structures in Costa Rica and abroad, and establishing trusts and escrow agreements.
