Position

Candice Wong is a partner in Fried Frank’s Litigation Department. She represents companies and individuals in high-stakes business disputes and government-facing matters, including in all stages of litigation, white collar criminal defense, and government and internal investigations.

A former prosecutor and seasoned trial and appellate litigator, Candice draws on nearly 10 years of experience at the US Department of Justice (DOJ)—both at the country’s largest US Attorney’s Office, where she led a high-profile federal unit, and at the DOJ’s Criminal Division, where she served in the third-highest ranking leadership position. As an Assistant US Attorney in the District of Columbia, Candice personally tried 28 criminal cases to verdict, including 12 jury trials, and briefed and argued numerous appeals. Candice also served as Chief of the Violence Reduction and Trafficking Offenses Section, where she spearheaded and supervised federal investigations targeting gangs, prolific cybercriminals, fatal opioid overdoses, fentanyl trafficking networks and other illicit schemes involving money laundering, fraud, obstruction, the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), and firearms and narcotics offenses.
