Roy Tannenbaum is a corporate partner in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity Practice, resident in Fried Frank's New York office. He joined the Firm in 2015 and became a partner in 2021.

Roy has experience in public and private M&A transactions involving strategic acquirers and financial sponsors, including mergers, stock and assets acquisitions and divestitures, cash tender offers, “going private” transactions, dividend recapitalizations and corporate restructurings. Roy has experience advising managements, boards of directors and special committees on corporate governance matters including takeover preparedness and contested situations. Roy also frequently represents investment banks in their capacity as financial advisors on various M&A transactions across various industries and jurisdictions.
