Monica Thurmond is the co-head of Fried Frank's US Finance practice. She is a finance and capital markets lawyer who represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in a variety of leveraged financing engagements, such as leveraged acquisitions, syndicated loans, ABLs, bridge financings, debt restructurings and mezzanine debt.  She represents issuers in a variety of public and private equity and debt securities offerings, including initial public offerings, as well as high-yield debt offerings. She also represents both issuers and investors in private placements of convertible debt and preferred stock.
