Counsel in our Financial Institutions practice. Kendall counsels banks, fintechs and technology companies on regulatory, enforcement and transactional matters, with a focus on anti-money laundering / countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) compliance and artificial intelligence (AI) governance. Besides AML/CFT, his work in the national security space includes matters involving economic sanctions. He represents clients in examinations, investigations and enforcement proceedings before FinCEN, the Federal Reserve, the OCC, the FDIC and state regulators.
Kendall regularly writes and presents on emerging compliance, governance and risk management issues at the intersection of financial regulation, digital assets and AI.
