Kara is a member of Davis Polk’s Tax practice. She advises clients on the tax aspects of complex mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions and bank financings, both in the United States and internationally. Her work spans industries including consumer products and retail, energy, financial services, healthcare, and tech, media and telecom.

She is a member of the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association Tax Section and a member of the New York Tax Forum.
