Partner in the Tax practice area of Demarest, Gisele Barra Bossa holds a master’s degree and postgraduate degree lato sensu in Economic Law Sciences from the University of Coimbra (Portugal) and is in course as a doctoral student at the same institution. She served as a judge at the Administrative Tax Court of Appeals (CARF) for four years and has a strong presence in the areas of tax litigation and advisory. In addition, she has managed strategic litigation areas in corporations from various economic segments and has experience in government relations. Gisele is a guest lecturer in postgraduate courses and has lectured at the Faculty of Law at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie in Campinas and at the Faculty of Administration at Fundação Escola de Comércio Álvares Penteado.
