Career

Flavia dedicates her practice to the third sector and corporate social responsibility, advising non-profit organizations in several areas, such as health, education, culture and environment, in addition to supporting companies and families in structuring their private social investments. She is a specialist in structuring civil society organizations and impact businesses, as well as in legal consulting involving tax, corporate, governance, contracts, and administrative processes, always focusing on the third sector and social and impactful initiatives. She also works with human rights and business, with an emphasis on the implementation of social aspects regarding ESG criteria. Flavia pioneered pro bono work at Mattos Filho and is actively engaged in the growth and development of pro bono culture in the region. She is also an officer and co-chair of the IBA Pro Bono Committee.

Flavia serves voluntarily as president of the board trustees at Instituto Pro Bono and as vice-president of the board at Associação de Assistência à Criança Deficiente (AACD). She is also a member of the boards of Fundação Julita and WWF Brazil. Flavia is a volunteer member of the audit committee of Grupo de Institutos Fundações e Empresas (GIFE) and an advisory board member of Associação Pró Dança. Flavia is a founding member and advisory board member of Pacto pela Igualdade Racial and Associação Santa Inclusão (‘Santa Plural’).
