Tábata is highly experienced in handling a wide range of environmental litigation and advisory matters. She advises on climate change aspects of transactions involving the carbon market, including structuring and designing projects, buying and selling carbon credits, and conducting due diligence.

Tábata advises clients on their decarbonization strategies, preventing potential climate litigation, and also works on several fronts concerning carbon market regulation in Brazil. In her work within Mattos Filho’s ESG practice, Tábata provides legal advice in relation to administrative proceedings and environmental litigation. She also applies her experience with sustainability issues to M&A, project finance, and capital markets transactions, adding value to clients’ demands and interests.
