Julia’s practice focuses on competition litigation with an international scope. She has extensive experience acting in cartel damages claims before the English courts and across the EU, including cross-border group actions such as the Trucks cartel and interchange fees litigation.

A German-qualified lawyer, Julia joined Hausfeld London as an Associate in 2018, having previously trained with the firm in both London and Berlin. She also gained experience in international arbitration during an internship at WilmerHale London. Before qualifying, Julia completed her doctorate at Humboldt University of Berlin and worked in the German Federal Parliament and the Ministry of Justice.

Julia has acted for multinational businesses across different sectors and spent three months on secondment with the in-house legal team at METRO AG, Europe’s largest wholesaler.
