Edward’s practice focuses on complex commercial dispute resolution, arbitration and the private enforcement of competition law. He has extensive experience acting for claimants and defendants in high-value, multi-jurisdictional disputes spanning breach of contract, insurance coverage, professional negligence, civil fraud and unfair prejudice.

Edward has played a pivotal role in landmark litigation before the High Court, most notably Stuart Wall v The Royal Bank of Scotland plc, and recently represented private equity clients in Athos Partners SAM v ABE Capital Partners SGEIC, SA.  In the Competition Appeal Tribunal, he has been instrumental in high-profile competition damages claims against banks and global tech companies, including Phillip Evans v Barclays Bank plc and others, a collective action arising from alleged FX cartel conduct. He has also advised on international arbitrations under major institutional rules, with a recent highlight including acting for one of the UK’s largest independent healthcare providers in a substantial LCIA arbitration.
