Energy Regulatory

Mandi Moroz assists clients with both energy and environmental regulatory matters. She has extensive experience advising oil and natural gas pipeline, terminal and LNG facility operators on a variety of regulatory compliance matters under the Pipeline Safety Act. This work includes enforcement defense and counseling clients on matters related to operations, maintenance, incident response, integrity management and other regulatory requirements. In her practice, Mandi also has experience collaborating with trade groups, advising clients on protections for confidential and security information and assisting clients involved in federal and state rulemaking.

In addition to her energy regulatory practice, Mandi also has experience working with clients at all stages of environmental representation, including litigation, regulatory and transactional matters. She has experience working with clients involved in toxic tort, Clean Water Act (CWA) and Administrative Procedure Act (APA) litigation. She has also worked to advise clients on a variety of regulatory needs, ranging from potential Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) liability in the acquisition of a property to permitting compliance issues under the CWA.
