Raj Bandla focuses his practice on matters relating to affordable housing and economic development. He has vast experience representing parties on all sides of affordable housing financings, including institutional investors, developers, governmental agencies, non-profits and lenders. Raj advises clients on a wide range of matters, such as corporate and governance issues, asset management and transactional matters ranging from acquisitions, dispositions, refinancings and fund formations. He also helps investors and developers with projects qualifying for benefits under the federal opportunity zones program.

Raj is skilled at helping clients who need advice on projects involving workforce housing incentives, federal and state low-income housing tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits, tax-exempt bonds, FHA-insured multifamily loans and other government and private sources. He also routinely assists clients new to the world of affordable housing and economic development incentives in understanding the incentives, discussing potential strategies and identifying potential partners
