Chris is a leading lobbying and public policy lawyer with nearly 20 years of experience specializing in energy, climate change, and energy transition issues. His practice centers on advising a broad range of clients, including the largest natural gas producers and infrastructure developers, technology firms, clean energy innovators, and conventional power companies—on complex domestic and international policy matters. Chris represents clients before federal agencies and the U.S. Congress, providing strategic counsel on regulatory, legislative, and advocacy initiatives. His work spans sectors such as energy and sustainability, data centers, transportation, and international trade, and includes advising on cutting-edge issues like artificial intelligence, supply chains, and competition policy.

Career

Chris served as a professional staff member for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce, working for then-Chairman John D. Dingell where he contributed to the passage of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007. Additionally, he served as a law clerk for a federal judge in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
