Position
Eleanor is counsel in Carey Olsen's dispute resolution and litigation team in Jersey.
She has experience in a wide variety of litigation matters, as well as an in-depth understanding of Jersey corporate and trust structures developed during her time working in non-contentious teams.
Eleanor was ranked as one of ePrivateClient's "Top 35 Under 35" in 2022 and has been named as one of ePrivateClient's UK and UK Crown Dependencies NextGen Leaders for 2024.
Career
Since her arrival in Jersey in 2015, Eleanor has gained experience in a wide variety of litigation matters at top tier Jersey firms, including a litigation boutique. She conducted her first trial in 2023.
Eleanor was called to the Bar of England & Wales by Inner Temple in 2015, and subsequently trained and qualified as an English solicitor in Jersey. She was admitted as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey in 2021.
Eleanor studied French and Russian at the University of Glasgow and converted to law at Nottingham Trent University.
