Christine, counsel in Jersey's corporate team specialises in real estate finance and Islamic finance. Christine acts for financial institutions, borrowers and trustees in connection with structures involving companies, trusts and partnerships. She has worked in Jersey since 2007 and rejoined Carey Olsen in January 2026 having previously spent eight years in Carey Olsen's Jersey banking and finance team.

In addition to her time spent in private practice in Jersey, Christine has worked as a Legal Adviser in the Legislative Projects Team at the Jersey Law Officer's Department and completed a secondment as a Technical Manager with Jersey Finance.

Before moving to Jersey, Christine firstly trained and qualified as a Scottish Solicitor with Shepherd and Wedderburn and then practised at DLA Piper. She completed her degree and post graduate studies at the University of Glasgow.
