Position

Richard has a broad range of experience advising both UK and international clients, including both listed and private companies as well as high net-worth individuals, on corporate and commercial issues.

He has represented clients on private acquisitions and disposals, business start-ups and joint ventures, management buy-outs, AIM listings, fund raising and financing/refinancing arrangements (both debt and equity).

Richard’s clients operate primarily in the technology and life science sectors but his experience includes advising clients who operate in a wide variety of sectors and industries including manufacturing industry, financial services, media, consumer products and leisure industries.

Richard also advises on corporate insolvency matters where he has advised the directors of companies in financial distress, creditors and insolvency practitioners.

Richard specialises in advising charity and not-for-profit clients, including a number of membership associations, on issues relating to their formation and governance.
