Janine advises businesses of varying sizes upon litigation and dispute resolution across a varied range of industry sectors and works with individuals, SMEs and listed companies but the emphasis is on owner managed businesses across the North West.

Her main areas of experience are commercial contracts including: corporate litigation, breaches of trust/ fiduciary duty, professional negligence and contentious probate. Janine is an accredited mediator (both CEDR and ADR) and regularly mediates and resolves all types of commercial disputes.

Trained Wragge & Co, Birmingham; qualified 1989; trainee solicitor followed by three years post-qualification as a solicitor in the corporate recovery team; followed by eight years at Addleshaw Booth & Co, Manchester as solicitor then associate in corporate recovery team; partner and head of litigation at Chaffe Street, Manchester and then partner Halliwells LLP for ten years followed by partner at Gateley LLP in commercial dispute resolution unit, Manchester.
