Position

Nick has significant experience in national and international corporate finance, capital markets, private equity and mergers & acquisitions, with particular specialisms including real estate investment and finance, and telecoms and technology mergers & acquisitions.

Career

Nick trained at Wragge & Co, qualifying into their corporate department and being made up to partner in May 1999. Nick’s experience is in a range of corporate transactions including M&A (national and international), public company and private equity. Initially Nick’s practice focused on corporate deals in the IT and telecoms sector, where he built-up a strong client relationship with AT&T working on a number of M&A deals for them over a four-year period (including advising on the English aspects of their $10bn global ‘Concert’ JV with BT). In 2002 his focus shifted towards financial institutions and he established and led a multi disciplinary group of 15 partners facing that sector. Nick also ran the firm’s North American business development group, part of which involved Nick working for six months with Kirkland & Ellis in their Chicago office. 

Prior to joining the company, Nick was co-head of global investment bank Nomura’s London-based real estate investment group, a balance sheet multi-faceted real estate business (debt, mezzanine and equity) focusing on Europe, CEE, CIS and Russia.

Leisure

Nick’s interests include football, golf, skiing and water skiing.
