Kirsty joined Hall Brown in October 2023, having previously worked at the UK’s largest specialist family law firm. Kirsty qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in November 2025 having commenced her legal career in 2016 as a legal apprentice.

Kirsty is developing expertise across all areas of family law, including divorce, financial remedy, and private children matters. She has a particular interest in high-net-worth cases and complex financial disputes, and works closely with senior members of the team.

Prior to her legal career, Kirsty volunteered with the National Autistic Society. This led to part-time employment with her local council in a 1-2-1 personal support role with a young non-verbal child. Kirsty is therefore comfortable in assisting clients who may require additional support due to neurodiversity.

Kirsty is an appointed Specialist Reference Group (SRG) adviser at CILEx. This role enables her to provide her input in the development, evolution and articulation of policy work surrounding Family Law and provides opportunities to work alongside key stakeholders such as the MOJ and HMCTS.

Kirsty was shortlisted to join the CILEx Professional Board as a co-opted Paralegal representative in 2023. Kirsty is the JLD (junior lawyers division) Director for Manchester Young Lawyers.

Outside of work, Kirsty enjoys sports such as running, skiing and Pilates. Kirsty also loves to spend time her with friends and family, including her German Shepherd, Nova.
