Partner & Legal Director

Career

Rosy is a highly experienced immigration lawyer who has practised exclusively in immigration law since 2009, advising clients across the full spectrum of personal, business, and human rights immigration matters.

She studied at the Faculty of Law in Milan, Italy, where she also worked as a legal assistant, gaining valuable experience in international law and medical negligence matters. Following her relocation to the United Kingdom, Rosy joined Lawrence Lupin Solicitors, where she developed expertise across all areas of immigration law, with particular emphasis on asylum, detention, deportation, appeals before both the First-Tier and Upper Tribunal, as well as personal immigration matters.

During the early stages of her career, Rosy worked extensively with asylum seekers and their families, assisting vulnerable adults and unaccompanied asylum-seeking children with applications and appeals. She also gained significant experience in detention-related matters, including immigration bail applications and deportation cases.

Rosy initially qualified under the Solicitors Regulation Authority's Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme at Supervisor level and is now regulated at the highest level (Level 3) by the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA). She also holds JRCM status, reflecting her qualification to undertake regulated immigration work at the highest level, including Judicial Reviews.

Since joining Westkin Associates in 2016, Rosy has developed extensive expertise in corporate and business immigration. She has successfully advised entrepreneurs, investors, business owners, and senior executives on relocating to the UK, establishing businesses, and securing immigration permission under a variety of immigration routes. She has particular experience with complex entrepreneur matters, and has assisted numerous clients with business establishment and expansion in the UK.

Alongside her corporate immigration practice, Rosy continues to advise on particularly complex human rights and personal immigration matters. She is frequently instructed in cases that involve an overlap between business immigration and human rights considerations, requiring creative and strategic legal solutions. She is especially sought after for cases where previous legal advice has proven ineffective or where applications have been refused, bringing a practical and innovative approach to achieving successful outcomes.

At Westkin Associates, Rosy has advised on a number of high-profile matters involving members of royal families, (ultra) high net worth individuals, prominent political figures, and internationally mobile business clients. Her client base spans across a broad range of industries, enabling her to provide commercially informed immigration advice tailored to the needs of different sectors. In particular, she has developed significant expertise advising clients in finance, energy, oil and gas and shipping industries.

As Partner and Legal Director at Westkin Associates, Rosy oversees the firm's legal team and maintains overall supervision of its lawyers and caseworkers. She is known for her direct approach, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to manage even the most complex immigration applications with professionalism and efficiency.
