Accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a  Family Law Mediator and a Trained collaborative lawyer. I specialised in Family Law in approximately 2005 and have practised exclusively in this field since then. I am regularly instructed on all aspects of family law and child law with particular experience of acrimonious contact / residence disputes. I have extensive Court experience and experience of representing children. In the past I have been appointed by the court both as a child welfare reporter to prepare reports in contentious contact and residence disputes and also as a curator to represent children. I have been involved in numerous cases involving complex financial provision including businesses, companies and shareholdings on occasion for high net worth individuals. I have experience of cohabitation disputes and minutes for contempt of court for failure to obtemper court orders including aliment orders. I regularly negotiate minutes of agreement for  Pre and Post Nuptial Agreements and cohabitation cases. I have substantial experience of domestic abuse cases and the obtaining of protective court orders in relation to them and adoptions.
