Career
Claudia trained at Anthony Collins Solicitors, a highly regarded multi-disciplinary law firm based in Birmingham. She qualified in 2012, and moved to the Leeds team of Mills & Reeve in 2017. Having thoroughly enjoyed 9 brilliant years at Mills & Reeve, she moved to Consilia as a Consultant in May 2026, seeking the same commitment to client service and excellence but in a more ambitious and agile environment.
Claudia became a Senior Associate in Mills & Reeve in 2017, and a Principal Associate in 2020. Preferring the Consultancy route over the partnership pathway, she moved to Consilia as a Consultant in 2026.
Claudia has, throughout her years of practice, developed her expertise in advising the vulnerable, including victims of domestic abuse and those with concerns around their mental capacity. She was a Trustee (Non-Executive Director) for IDAS, Yorkshire’s largest domestic abuse charity from 2015 to 2022, including for the final years of her tenure, being Chair of their Audit Committee. She has provided training to solicitors and professionals as part of Safe Lives projects and privately, on the impact of domestic abuse.
In September 2021, whilst at Mills & Reeve Claudia founded and co-chaired Balance, their gender equity network, leading the charge on achieving equity and equality in a very large multi office law firm.
