Sarah is a Partner at Fletchers and co-leads our specialist Medical Product Liability team , a growing and dynamic department.  

With 15 years of legal experience, 12 of which have been served as a qualified solicitor, Sarah brings deep expertise and insight to this emerging area of litigation.

Her work involves advancing claims under the Consumer Protection Act and in negligence against manufacturers and distributors of defective medical products. These claims are often pursued as group action claims, enabling individuals with shared experiences to join together, pool resources, and access justice that might otherwise be out of reach.

Sarah’s background spans both Claimant and Defendant clinical negligence work. Her caseload has included high-value and sensitive claims involving delayed cancer diagnoses, obstetric injuries, orthopaedic negligence, maternal birth trauma, psychiatric harm, and fatal outcomes. This dual perspective has equipped her with a strategic, balanced approach that benefits the clients she now represents.

Sarah is particularly passionate about group litigation, which she sees as a powerful tool to amplify the voices of people harmed by major healthcare failings. She brings empathy, tenacity, and purpose to her work, striving to secure meaningful outcomes for her clients.

A proud moment in her career was working on the Transvaginal Mesh litigation—England’s first successful group action on behalf of women injured by pelvic mesh implants. The claims led to accountability from several major pharmaceutical companies and brought justice to women who had long been ignored.
