Julia Morrill is a Senior Director and one of the Head’s of our Private Client department. She is a nationally-recognised expert solicitor with over 25 years’ experience, renowned for her expertise in clinical negligence and court of protection work. 

She is ranked as a ‘Leading Individual’ in Chambers & Partners Guide to the Legal Profession and The Legal 500 for her work in the field of clinical negligence. Her work supporting vulnerable people, their families and their advisors in the area of mental incapacity is widely acknowledged.

Julia has over 25 years’ experience in settling high value, multi-million pound clinical negligence claims on behalf of both children and adults and is known for her empathetic, common-sense approach. Her particular skills and expertise are in handling birth injury cases.

This skill and experience informs her role as a specialist court of protection appointed professional Deputy, making her ideally placed to assist in managing with the financial and property affairs of individuals the Court of Protection has deemed do not have capacity to do so themselves.
