Our Islamic finance team has continued with broadening its UK reach but is increasingly doing work that is international in nature (e.g. acting for offshore customers acquiring UK assets with offshore banks). We act for UK and Middle East wholly sharia compliant banks on both transactional and non-transactional work. We also work with conventional banks who have an Islamic window. With extensive experience, our team advises on complex transactions utilising sharia compliant techniques such as murabaha, ijara, mudaraba, musharakah and sukuk.
