Calum has extensive experience advising multi-national businesses on sponsorship for skilled workers and global business mobility visas throughout the UK.  He offers advice to businesses and individuals across a variety of sectors including agriculture, engineering, technology, further and higher education, retail, food and hospitality, manufacturing and transport.

Calum works with global clients’ HR and mobility teams to offer sound advice to help drive international recruitment for businesses post-Brexit and supports businesses with complex UK immigration matters with commercially apt strategic advice and solutions.

He undertakes immigration audits for clients to assess UKVI sponsor licence and general right to work compliance, and presents bespoke immigration training sessions for HR professionals and in house counsel on these topics and general immigration law updates.

Calum also has extensive experience of individual, family and private life visa applications and has supported many clients on their journey from their first entry clearance application through to naturalising as British citizens.  Calum has an eye for detail and has a particular specialism in the complexities of family members meeting all of the requirements under Appendix FM of the immigration rules.
