Career

Rochelle Oviosu studied law at St Mary’s University Twickenham, graduating in 2016.

Rochelle joined a Legal 500 ranked firm, in 2019, as a Court of Protection legal administrator.

Rochelle later completed the CILEX Apprenticeship Graduate Fast Track Diploma, qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2023.

In 2023, Rochelle joined a firm in Bedfordshire as a Court of Protection and Personal Injury Trusts Chartered Legal Executive.

Rochelle joined Pinney Talfourd’s Private Client team in February 2025 as a CILEX Lawyer and will be assisting in the management of property and financial deputyships.

Rochelle has significant experience working with individuals who have lost capacity and has assisted Professional, Panel, and Lay Deputies. Her experience includes the drafting and submission of various applications to the Court, liaising with the Office of the Public Guardian, including the submission of annual reports, and assisting with financial investigations into claims of financial abuse. Rochelle’s experience further extends to working with several local authorities regarding her clients’ liability for care, and seeking all eligible funding for them.

Rochelle continues to worked closely with other professionals to ensure her clients’ needs are met and considered in all decisions.

Personal

In her spare time Rochelle likes to try out recipes she has noted from various cooking shows, socialise with family and friends, and watch crime documentaries.
