Career

Melody Ogbebor studied law at the University of Portsmouth before completing the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law in 2018.

In the following year, Melody began her legal career at a high-street London practice as a Paralegal where she had exposure to Private Client. She then moved on to work in a firm in Hertfordshire as a Private Client Paralegal.

In 2021, Melody joined a Bedfordshire firm where she qualified as a solicitor in the following  year.

Melody joined Pinney Talfourd as a Private Client Solicitor in February 2025 and is based in our Upminster office. She assists clients in drafting Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) and all aspects of estate administration.

Melody has exposure to many aspects of Private Client law and her experience includes but is not limited to: the submission of Inheritance Tax Accounts to HMRC in both excepted and non-excepted estates, estate administration for both testate and intestate clients, drafting of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deeds of Variation, and liaising with HMRC as to the submission of tax returns, both pre-death and post-death.

Personal

Melody enjoys reading, travelling with friends and family, indulging in crime documentaries and is an avid Arsenal fan.
