Michael is an accomplished solicitor with significant experience across a range of the firm’s practice areas including sanctions, extradition, asylum, INTERPOL, Human Rights and White-Collar Crime.

Michael coordinates challenges brought by individuals against the imposition of UK sanctions and is an expert on the UK sanctions regime, having advised individual and corporate clients on compliance with financial, immigration and trade sanctions.

Michael works with the firm’s extradition practice and is skilled in all areas of extradition law. He has been instructed by individuals from Russia, the US and countries within the EAW system, working with barristers from top-tier chambers in defending extradition requests. Michael’s experience working on politically motivated asylum and international protection claims means that he is able to represent clients with highly sensitive backgrounds in both forums.
